Evernight is the first book in the series of four from the debut author Claudia Gray.
Evernight follows Bianca; a girl who has been pulled away by her parents from the small town she has lived in her whole life to attend Evernight Academy where she will be a student and her parents teachers. In the Academy she struggles to fit in with the rich and beautiful students and is labelled an outcast.
After "breaking out" of school she runs into Lucas; another outcast, who is attending Evernight. They fall in love but just like everything else at Evernight; nothing is ever what it seems.
I wish i could say more but i really can't because that would spoil it. Overall i really enjoyed this book as there are always surprises 'round the corner and its always got you at the edge of your seat. However it had a slow start and at certain times the language was quite immature; even for a YA book.
I still think its a good read though and i'm currently reading the second one.
